Privacy Policy
The short version
- We keep what is needed to make your videos: your account, your briefs and photos, the videos, and records of what each video cost.
- Your content is sent to the AI providers that generate it, and nowhere else unless you post to Instagram.
- Card and UPI details go to Razorpay, never to us. We keep only Razorpay reference numbers.
- You can delete videos and close your account; write to the grievance officer for anything else.
1. Who we are
Meenira (OPC) Private Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana (CIN U63120HR2026OPC151838) is the data fiduciary for Meenira Studio.
2. What we collect
- Account: your name, business name, email address, optional mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Content: briefs, uploaded photos (with location and camera details removed on upload), storyboards, generated pictures, clips, narration and videos.
- Instagram (only if you connect it): your account id and username, and an access token stored encrypted.
- Usage and billing: estimates, approvals, spend per video, and your plan, status and Razorpay reference ids.
- Technical logs needed for security and to fix errors.
3. Why we use it
- To make, store and deliver your videos and post them when you ask.
- To enforce spending caps, bill your plan and prevent abuse.
- To send service emails such as email confirmation and billing notices.
- We do not sell your data and do not use your content to train AI models.
4. Who receives it
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage in Mumbai, India; Amazon Bedrock and Polly for planning and narration).
- Google (Gemini and Vertex AI) and other AI model providers we use to generate pictures and clips; they receive the prompt and, where needed, your photos.
- Meta, if you post to Instagram.
- Razorpay Software Private Limited, for payments.
- An email delivery provider for service emails.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. You enter card or UPI details on Razorpay’s checkout; they never reach or are stored by Meenira. We keep only Razorpay reference ids, your plan, payment status and dates. See Razorpay’s privacy policy.
6. How long we keep it
- Your content and account data are kept while your account is active and deleted after you delete them or close your account, except backups that expire on their normal cycle.
- Billing and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask for a summary of your data, its correction or erasure, and withdraw consent, and you can nominate someone to act for you. Write to support@meenira.com (subject “Grievance (DPDP)”). If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit; Instagram tokens are encrypted at rest; access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the Board as the law requires.
9. Changes
We will change the date at the top when we update this policy and tell you about significant changes by email.
